Commissions

Five artists have recieved small commissions to produce work based on the proposals they submitted to Calling. These artists are:

Joe Atwere: "Kaleidoscope", a VJ piece, an electronic mixing event with sound and imagery triggered by performer's movements

Kayle Brandon: a manual on a subject of her choice, in which some translation occurs between lo-tech and high-tech methods

Dave Ellington: "Vision of Hand Expression", a moving-image exploration of gesture, demonstrating a transition from emotional gesture to British Sign Language

Martin Hopton: three short moving image/performance pieces

Simon Johnson: web banners inspired by the theme of Calling
